Happy gardeners

We've loved our first week back in school. Mrs Winstanley has organised some sunflower planting. The children will be observing them carefully as they grow and change.

"Changes" is the name of this term's theme and during the term we will enjoying many 'changes', including following the development of the tadpoles then watching chicks hatch and grow, then observing the life cycle of the butterfly. We have lots of exciting experiences planned.

Finger painting

The children love this tactile and creative activity. They can work individually or mirror a child working on the other side of the frame.

Reading buddies

We're using soft toys as "reading buddies" in the outside classroom. The children choose a buddy and a book, and enjoy a story together.
